What do you love now, that you hated when you were younger?
When I was younger, I thought something always had to be happening.
The music needed to be louder. The days busier. Every silence felt like empty space waiting to be filled.
These days, I’ve discovered there’s something rather wonderful about quiet.
A slow morning with a cup of coffee. A walk without checking the time. Sitting in the garden listening to birds that probably couldn’t care less whether anyone was listening.
I’ve learned that quiet isn’t the absence of life.
It’s often where life is easiest to notice.
Funny how some of the things we spend our youth trying to escape become the very things we treasure later on.
Stay fabulous,
Luce 💋
