What are the biggest mistakes people make when visiting your country?
When people visit a country for the first time, they often make the same mistake.
They try to see everything.
Every landmark.
Every attraction.
Every place somebody told them they simply must visit.
By the end of the trip they’re exhausted and barely remember half of it.
The truth is that most of the memories you’ll keep aren’t the ones you planned.
They’re the unexpected ones.
A conversation with a stranger.
A small café you found by accident.
A village you stopped in because you needed a break from driving.
A rainy afternoon that forced you to change your plans.
I think the biggest mistake people make when visiting a country is treating it like a checklist.
Countries aren’t collections of sights.
They’re collections of people, stories and moments.
Leave a little room for those.
You might be surprised by what you remember years later.
