Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
I think the most positive change I’ve made is learning to slow things down a little.
I used to feel like I always had to be moving towards something. One more task, one more plan, one more thing to tick off before I could properly sit still. Even the quiet moments had a purpose attached to them.
Somewhere along the way, that shifted.
Not all at once… just gradually. I started leaving a bit more space in my days. Letting things take the time they needed instead of trying to rush through them. Sitting with a coffee without reaching for my phone straight away. Taking a walk without turning it into something productive.
It sounds small, but it changed quite a lot.
Things feel a bit clearer when you’re not constantly trying to keep up with everything at once. Conversations last a little longer. Thoughts have time to settle. You notice things you would’ve missed before.
I still catch myself speeding up now and then. Old habits don’t disappear overnight.
But I know how to come back from it.
And that, more than anything, feels like a positive change.
Stay fabulous,
Luce 💋
