In what ways do you communicate online?
Let’s start by stating the obvious:
I am a woman of words.
And emojis.
And GIFs.
And suspiciously well-timed memes.
You want a casual one-liner in a group chat?
I’m your girl.
You want a voice note delivered with the flair of a Shakespeare soliloquy?
Done.
You want a heartfelt paragraph that somehow still manages to slip in a Bowie lyric?
Please. Am I not me?
I communicate in exclamations (!!!), ellipses (…), caps when necessary (DAD, WHY), and the occasional “seen 2:37pm” when I need to hold dramatic power.
And don’t get me started on my typing rhythm.
If you’ve never emotionally typed a message one line at a time like:
listen
I’m not saying
it’s a bad idea
but
what if we just
didn’t
…then you’re missing out on theatre, darling. Pure theatre.
So yes — online I speak in italics, subtext, and sly reference. I’m fluent in typo, sarcasm, and sticker pack. I’ve been known to send a picture of a ferret in a party hat to express congratulations.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just what you say —
It’s how flamboyantly you say it.
Stay fabulous,
Luce 💋
