What strategies do I use to increase comfort in my daily life?

Darling, I curate my comfort like a playlist.

Comfort, for me, isn’t just about big throws or bubble baths (though I fully endorse both). It’s about engineering the small things so life feels less like a battle and more like a breeze.

I start with the senses.
Soft socks — always. A silk scarf even on casual days. Scented hand cream in my purse. These are my micro-luxuries, little reminders that softness belongs in the everyday.

Then I edit my surroundings.
I put the mug I actually love within reach. I leave a lamp on a dimmer by my reading nook. I keep a playlist of warm brass and soft jazz ready for rainy mornings. And yes, I fluff my pillows — unapologetically — because deflated dreams and deflated cushions both make the world feel harder.

I comfort myself in advance.
I lay out outfits the night before, so I don’t start my day already negotiating with the closet. I keep a snack tucked into the glovebox (because no one should make decisions while hungry). And I practice saying no — a soft, firm “no thank you” is one of the greatest comforts of all.

I even choreograph discomfort.
If I know the day will be tough, I sandwich it with gentleness: a peppermint tea before, a dance break after. A good lipstick in the middle, to mark it like a ribbon on a gift — even the hard days deserve wrapping.

But most of all? I lean on routines. Not rigid ones — but comforting, circular ones. The evening candle, the morning stretch, the check-in call with someone who laughs in the same rhythm I do. That’s my version of a warm blanket on the soul.

Because real comfort isn’t just something you feel — it’s something you build.

What are your comfort strategies, darling?

Stay fabulous,
— Luce 💋
