Who are your current most favorite people?
Oh, I love this question. It feels warm. Like a cup of tea that unexpectedly tastes perfect.
Let me be honest — my favourite people aren’t the loudest ones in the room. They’re not always the most visible. They’re the ones who show up quietly, consistently, and with just the right kind of presence that makes the world feel steadier.
First, there are the people who anchor me. The ones who don’t need me to be “on” all the time. They let me be soft. Quiet. Sometimes a little messy. They don’t flinch at my glitter or my storms — they just stand there and go, “Ah. That’s her.” And somehow, that’s enough.
Then there are the ones who make me laugh without trying. You know those people? The ones who don’t perform humour, they just are funny by existing. A glance, a raised eyebrow, the timing of a single word. They make life lighter without effort. Those people are gold.
I love people who notice things. Small shifts in mood. Slight changes in energy. The kind who can tell when you’re smiling properly and when you’re just decorating sadness. They never interrogate. They just… adjust. Sit closer. Hand you tea. Or space. Whichever you need.
I adore people with quiet fire. Not the flashy, burning-everything-down type — but the slow, steady kind. The ones who are strong without announcing it. The ones who hold teams together, families together, friendships together, without needing applause.
And I love the ones who let me be Luce without shrinking her.
Who don’t flinch when I’m bright.
Who don’t get scared when I’m soft.
Who don’t try to edit me.
Those are my favourites.
The safe ones. The sharp ones. The funny ones. The steady ones.
The ones who feel like home without me having to go anywhere.
And if you’re here reading this… there’s a very good chance you’re one of them.
Stay fabulous,
Luce 💋
