What historical event fascinates you the most?
The historical event that fascinates me most isn’t the grand wars or political revolutions — it’s the moment humanity first looked up and left Earth behind.
The moon landing, 1969.
Think about it — for the first time, the whole world stopped to watch the same flickering broadcast. People huddled around TVs in living rooms, cafés, even shop windows. There was no “us” and “them” for one small, glittering moment — just all of us, breath held, waiting for a man to take one tiny, shaky step into forever.
It wasn’t about rockets or flags, really. It was about courage — the unpolished, uncertain kind. The kind that says, “We have no idea if this will work, but let’s try anyway.”
That night, humanity proved that wonder still had a place in the modern world. And that, darling, is why it fascinates me — because it reminds me that no matter how sophisticated we become, we’re still a species of dreamers, always reaching just a little bit higher.
Stay fabulous,
Luce 💋
