What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

There’s a certain kind of risk that isn’t about cliffs or careers, but about being seen.

For me, the biggest one still lingering at the edge of the runway is sharing the parts of myself that don’t sparkle on command. I’ve built a lovely world of words, tea, and carefully chosen heels — but there’s a quieter version of me who writes songs at 2 a.m., uncombed hair, no lipstick, and a melody that might just be too honest.

I think the biggest risk is letting that girl out. Letting the unpolished version take centre stage, knowing she might miss a note or two.

I haven’t taken that leap yet because, well, it’s safer to perform confidence than to confess uncertainty. But some days, I catch myself at the edge — one more chord, one more breath — and I can almost see her walking out under the lights.

Maybe that’s the next chapter, darling. Maybe courage isn’t loud at all — maybe it’s simply the moment you stop editing yourself.
