What was the last thing you searched for online? Why were you looking for it?
Darling, you’d think it might have been something glamorous — a pair of shoes, a vintage lipstick shade, or maybe the perfect Parisian café to bookmark for “someday.”
But no. The truth is far less chic and far more… human.
I found myself googling: “How to get coffee stains out of silk.”
Yes, silk. Yes, coffee. A combination as disastrous as it is inevitable when one insists on starting the morning in elegance with a side of clumsiness.
Why was I looking for it? Because sometimes even the most fabulous mornings come with a splash — and not the champagne kind. One enthusiastic gesture, one poorly balanced cup, and suddenly my blouse was wearing more espresso than I was drinking.
So there I was, hunched over my phone, typing furiously, praying the internet had a solution that didn’t involve tossing the whole thing in the bin. (Spoiler: cold water, gentle dabs, and a little patience. And maybe don’t wave your arms around while telling a story before finishing your latte.)
It’s funny, isn’t it? We all imagine our search histories say something about who we are. Mine, apparently, says: elegant intentions, chaotic execution.
And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Stay fabulous,
Luce 💋
